SANTA CLARA, Calif., Sept. 28 -- Seiko Epson Corporation, and DSP Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: DSPG), today announced that Seiko Epson Corporation has licensed DSP Group's OakDSPCore Digital Signal Processor core technology. Seiko Epson's target markets include a wide range of advanced mobile communication products. Seiko Epson plans to make the OakDSPCore available to its entire library of ASIC products.

Epson's innovative ``Energy Saving'' technology program scientifically evolved from their expertise in the production of low-voltage, low-power-consuming ICs for watches. This technology has allowed Epson to develop products that have power, space, and time saving features. Epson's technology direction made the OakDSPCore a natural choice in DSP technology.
